    1. Answer comprehension questions For " The Prince Gets a Pet" - 25.2- Parents - students are to read this story on their own and answer the comprehension questions on their own. This task is designed to give me a good idea of where they student's are at this point in the year regarding comprehension.

MATH - STANDARD - MAFS.1.MD.1.a – Understand how to use a ruler to measure length to the nearest inch. a. Recognize that the ruler is a tool that can be used to measure the attribute of length. b. Understand the importance of the zero point and end point and that the length measure is the span between two points. c. Recognize that the units marked on a ruler have equal length intervals and fit together with no gaps or overlaps. These equal interval distances can be counted to determine the overall length of an object.

SOCIAL STUDIES - Goods and Services

  • THIS WEEK'S TASK FOR SOCIAL STUDIES (WEEK OF APRIL 20-24th)

     

    SOCIAL STUDIES WEEKLY 1st Grade (accessible via desktop portal)

    1. Student will read week 28 "Goods and Services". They will answer the questions on each page to earn coins to use when they play games. You will find the games available in the bottom of the left column. 

    The questions will help them recall facts from what they have read.

    Complete the "online quiz" at the end of the unit.
