Week of 4/8/20
From now on, our weeks will run from Wednesday to Tuesday. All work will be due by Tuesday 4/14/20
Topic: Rome, Lesson 1, The Founding of Rome. You have three assignment choices and a quiz, you MUST choose 2 assignments and take the quiz.
Before you begin the lesson activities, take a moment to watch this short video and read over this cute Storyboard that I made.
Both of these are also in the Google Classroom lesson assignments, so you can watch them there as well.
Here are the 3 choices and a short description. Remember, you will be choosing only 2 (unless you want to do all 3).
- Ch. 11, Lesson 1 eTextbook - The assignment will be on the left of the main page, click it from there. Read through Chapter 11, Lesson 1. Answer all the questions as you work through the pages. Leave me a message when you're done for the day.
- Ch. 11, Lesson 1 LearnSmart - In the eTextbook use the LearnSmart tool to work through Chapter 11, Lesson 1.
- Rome, Lesson 1, Google Document Question Set - Open the Question Set for Rome, Lesson 1 and workbook pages in Google Classroom. Read the pages and answer the questions. Type your answers directly on the document.
Later in the week, I will put a quiz up. The quiz is NOT one of the choices, it is mandatory.
Go to Google Classroom to make your choices and then begin working. Find a time each day to log onto your MCPS Desktop and go to your Google Classroom. Always begin in Google Classroom because there are instructions and short videos for each assignment.
Go to Google Classroom first. If you have questions during the day, or just want to say hi, send me an email or a private comment in Google Classroom, since I'll be working at home. If you really need to speak to me, I'll send you my home phone number.
Office Hours: If you email me between 8:00 – 9:00 am, or between 1:00 – 2:00 pm, I’ll reply to you right away. If you need to talk to me, just tell me you need to talk and include your phone number and I’ll give you a call.
Please be advised of the following:
