A child will be marked absent if there is NO PARENT CONTACT after three days. If children are not doing their assignments, grades will be assigned accordingly. Assignments are on a deadline and students need to be working diligently to meet them.
It's important to create a structured work schedule for your child so they can be in the correct mindset to complete work to the best of their ability. All work should be completed by students, but they will also need at-home support. Please encourage them to do their best as we all adjust to this new design.
It is best to complete at minimum one assignment per day. Please do not wait until the night before the due date to have assignments completed.
We are all working towards the common goal of continuing the education of our students. Regardless of our circumstances, let's end this school year strong.
Marion County Public Schools may record online classroom sessions utilizing third-party platforms (Zoom, Google Classroom, etc.). These recordings will only be used for educational purposes and may be shared on other learning platforms. If you do not want your child’s image or identifying information recorded, utilize your device/platform controls to stop the camera feed from your device.
