• Even though we're not together in school, we can still continue to learn and connect online! Students will be accessing activities and assignments using a variety of different online tools and platforms. You can find links to those tools, documents and websites here!

    Students will use thier portal to access many things: Skyward, iReady, Google Apps, Social Studies Weekly, etc. It is super important that scholars log in regularly.

      1. Have students go to www.readworks.org/student

      2. Students enter class code LYLTH7

      3. Students will select their name

      4. Your child's password is their Student ID Number (lunch number)

      Students can log into their Desktop Portal and access iReady from a tile within their portal.

     Reading Resources for your daily 20 minutes of reading

    • Raz-Plus (Learning a-z)  
      This is a wonderful program with so many spectacular books sorted by reading level and subject/category. 
      First graders should begin the year at a level D and end at or above a level J. 

    1.) Go to https://www.kidsa-z.com/main/Login

    2.) Teacher Username: drothwell0    (zero at the end)

    3.) Click your username

    4.) Your Password is the same as your Portal / iReady password

    Enjoy! Go to the Reading Room to find TONS of great books by level or topic. Go to Level Up and read more books to increase your reading level. 

    Click the Headphones icon to have the book read TO you.
    Click the Book symbol to read the book on your own. 
    Click the ?  Question Mark icon to answer comprehension questions about the book you read! :)
     

    • MYON  MYON
      Students can log into their Desktop Portal and access MYON from a tile within their portal.
      From within MYON, simply click "Projects" and click and select "read" for the assigned book for the day.
