• As we all embark on this new journey of online learning, I want you all to know that I am here to help you in anyway I can.  This is new to all of us but we can do this together.  My goal is to make this as user friendly as possible.

     

    Remember that you all are AWESOME and you have got this.

     

    I will post the assignments due every week under the assignements tab for your class.  You will have access to the assignment by clicking on it there.  You can either download it to print it out or use it as a reference on your computer screen while you work out the problems on your own paper.

     

    Homelearning will still be assigned every Monday and due on Friday.  If you need additional time to finish, get it to me by Monday.

     

    REMEMBER Mrs. G always wants to see your work even if you used the calculator.  Write down your steps on your paper.

     

    Once you have completed an assignment, take a picture of it and send it to me via email at isabel.goenaga@marion.k12.fl.us from your own school email.  This will ensure I give the grade to the correct student. **Make sure your first name, last name, date and period are on every assignment you send to me.

     

    Try to keep up with the assignments so you do not fall behind.  If you need extra time to complete an assignment, let me know and we can work something out.  You will still be allowed to redo/revisit assignments if you want to review a skill.

    Monday: Begin the lesson for your course and take notes in your math notebook. (The lesson will be the first link listed in the lessons tab for your course.)

     

    Tuesday: Continue the lesson for your course and take notes in your math notebook. (The lesson will be the first link listed in the lessons tab for your course.)

     

    Wednesday: Finalize your notes on the lesson for your course in your math notebook. (The lesson will be the first link listed in the lessons tab for your course.)

     

    Thursday/Friday: Complete assignment on the topic. (The assignment can be found in the assignments tab for your course.)

  • Steps to Retrieve Assignments:

     

    1. Click on your correct course tab on the left.

    2. Click on your course assignment tab.

    3. Under the current assignment section you will find the assignments that are due for the week.  Click on the assignment you are looking for.

    *Once the week has passed, you will find the assignments in the past due assignment column, most likely all the way at the bottom of the column.*

    4. Click on the link provided for the assignment to download and/or print.

     

    REMEMBER: You do not have to print out the assignments. You can work them out on a separate sheet of paper.  Make sure your problems are numbered and the answers are highlighted, underlined, or circled.

  • Assignments will be submitted to me via email.  Make sure you are sending me your assignments using your personal Marion County email.  This will ensure you are getting a grade for your assignment.

     

    *Write your first name, last name, date and period on all your papers.

     

    You can scan your assignments to email them to me or take a picture and email it to me at isabel.goenaga@marion.k12.fl.us

     

    REMEMBER to always show your work so that you receive full credit.

     

    Once the assignment is graded, your grade will be posted on Skyward.  If you are wanting to redo/revisit your assignment to review the skill, you may.  You will need to redo it and resubmit it via email to me.
