    Since it is the first day in April, we are going to start our PLANK CHALLENGE.

    You can either be on your elbows as the picture on the worksheet shows, or you can be on your hands, like in class.

    Try and follow the times listed, but if you can't, write down how long you did stay up, NO cheating!! Try to keep your back as straight as possible. Your mom or dad should be able to put a glass of water on your back and it won't fall off!!

     

    GET UP OFF YOUR BOOTY AND TAKE THE CHALLENGE WITH US!! YOUR BODY WILL THANK YOU LATER:)

    The following are the exercises that you need to do, When the song says...

     

    • I'm gonna take my horse.... you are going to do squats
    • ...I got my horses in the back... you are going to do jumping jacks
    • ...can't nobody tell me nothing... you are going to squat and arm punch right, squat and arm punch left
    • ...riding on my tractor... you are going to do front alternating lunges (right foot lunge, left foot, lunge)
    • ...hat down cross town...freestyle HAVE FUN WITH IT!!

    Spring is here! What are some things that remind you of the spring season? For me, I always think of bumble bees, bunny rabbits, beautiful flowers, and Easter Eggs. This week, I decided to create an obstacle course using some of these common spring ideas. My challenge to you is to create your own obstacle course at home using ideas that have to do with the spring time. Feel free to use some of my ideas or get creative and make up your own ideas! The games are optional, but we hope you play along.

    The workouts are for all skill and age levels K-5. We are starting easy and by the end of our quarantine, we will be working at intermediate and advanced levels because you will be stronger.

    It's WOW Wednesday!! Today and tomorrow are the last days of our plank challenge. I never thought I would be able to plank over 5 minutes, but now I can and I hope you improved daily on your plank challenge! I know Bowden has been planking with me!

    Since the last days of the plank challenge you are to plank as long as you can, I found the planking to Cha Cha Shuffle on YouTube and thought it would be fun for us to do:) WOW, what a workout! Have fun with it!

     Coach Palmeter is Awesome!  

    Good morning kiddos! Every Thursday, Coach Palmeter will have some type of running/cardio workout for you. Set some goals to get better each week. If you are a power walker like Coach Michael, a goal could be to become a jogger by the end of the month. If you are already a jogger or runner, like Coach Paul and Palmeter, you are working on getting stronger and faster. HAVE FUN!!
