Hello Artists and Parents!

      While we are not together for right now, we will be doing all specials classes "online"!

      You will only have ONE specials class per week.

      Here is the schedule:


      Kinder & 1st grade:

      Week 1 (April 1-3): Art

      Week 2 (April 6-10): Music

      Week 3 (April 13-17): PE


      2nd & 3rd grade:

      Week 1 (April 1-3): Music

      Week 2 (April 6-10): PE

      Week 3 (April 13-17): Art


      4th & 5th grade:

      Week 1 (April 1-3): PE

      Week 2 (April 6-10): Art

      Week 3 (April 13-17): Music


      You will need to sign up for google classroom with the appropriate link. Specials teachers will be giving assignments through google classroom. You can use google classroom on the computer, or you can download the app. You can then sign in with your marion student ID and password. Once you're signed in, you need to click "join a class" and enter the code for your class. Please be sure to join the correct classroom so that you can receive a grade for your assignments.

      To Get to Google Classrooms:

    Google Classroom is a tile on the MCPS Desktop.

    This is the same desktop where GoMath and iReady are located.

    Click on Google Apps at the bottom >>>>>>> Then click on Google Classroom.

  • Marion County Public Schools may record online classroom sessions utilizing third-party platforms (Zoom, Google Classroom, etc.).  These recordings will only be used for educational purposes and may be shared on other learning platforms.  If you do not want your child’s image or identifying information recorded, utilize your device/platform controls to stop the camera feed from your device.
