Beginning April 1st, students will continue their classes in an online format. My class will be run through the Google Classroom that students are already signed up for. This page will include helpful hints and links to help you navigate the transition from physical to online schooling.
Finding your classroom- Your Google classroom is accessible from your student home page. If you find that you have trouble getting into the classroom, please make sure that you are not signed into your personal google account on your home computer but your school google account. To determine which account you are signed into, if any, open the google search home page and click on the circle in the top right corner of the screen. If you need the code to get into My Google classroom, please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org
Online instruction- My online course material will have three components: video lessons, supplementary material, and weekly assignments. Each Monday, a new set of material will be posted for the week. Everything will be run through Google classroom and graded at the end of each week.
Zoom Conferences- Each day, Monday-Friday, I will Make myself available for one hour in the morning and one hour in the evening. A link for the zoom conference will be posted at the time of each meeting.
Grades- There will be two to three graded assignments each week. These grades will be entered at the end of the day on Friday.
****Marion County Public Schools may record online classroom sessions utilizing third-party platforms (Zoom, Google Classroom, etc.). These recordings will only be used for educational purposes and may be shared on other learning platforms. If you do not want your child’s image or identifying information recorded, utilize your device/platform controls to stop the camera feed from your device.****
