Distance Learning Announcements

    On my website under your course, for example, Pre-Algebra, you can find the details regarding your assignments. Click on that tab and scroll down to see the assignments. If you click on the assignment, it will provide you with more details on how to access that assignment along with what is required. Every Monday, I will be sending out an assignment checklist via email, that list what's on the website. Please review and ensure you know what is expected of you each week. We're off to a great start. Keep pushing!

  • Hello Parents!


    Distance learning is off to a great start!


    I just wanted to let you know what the tentative plan is for supporting our ESE students and meeting their accommodated needs.


    Each student has a caseworker who is responsible for their IEP. The casework will be responsible for calling their students weekly.


    Please reach out to me if your ESE case worker has not made contact with you by Wednesday, April 8th.

  • Hello Parents and Students!


    You will need technology such as a computer or tablet to access the online content for distance learning. If you do not have one of these devices, please inform me by email.


    Paper Packets are being worked on. I will notify you when they are available. If you are opting for a paper packet, please be advised that you will still have to take a picture of your work and submit via email. This is to ensure the safety of all during this pandemic. 


    Internet or Wi-fi service is also required. Many of you may have a hotspot on your phone that you can use to connect your computer/tablet to the internet.


    The information below was given to me by a collegue. It is a list of companies that may be able to assist you with free or inexpensive internet service. Please check them out, if needed:

  • Hello Students & Parents!


    The district has opted to go to a distance learning platform (virtual) until May 1. Please check HERE for any updates concerning course assignments for your class. 


    Each student needs to ensure that they know how to access the following platforms. I will be uploading information on how you can access the following platforms.

  • Marion County Public Schools may record online classroom sessions utilizing third-party platforms (Zoom, Google Classroom, etc.).  These recordings will only be used for educational purposes and may be shared on other learning platforms.  If you do not want your child’s image or identifying information recorded, utilize your device/platform controls to stop the camera feed from your device.
