I have lived in Dunnellon all my life. Yes, I even graduated from Dunnellon High School (we will not discuss the year). I have worked with children my whole life from keeping children in my home for years to working at Romeo Elementary School for twenty years. Having the opportunity to help students who would like to work with children in some aspect of their life is very exciting for me. Even if they decide working with children is not what they want to do, in their future. My hope is through their experience of working with children in my class will help them become better people.

I love spending time with my husband fishing and time at our little cabin in the woods. What makes it even better, is when our two children can join us (they are young adults now) and have lives of their own. No matter if we do not catch anything to bring home, just being together and on the water is a great day. Over the summer, I love floating down the Rainbow River every chance I get with and without kids, or just spending the day laying on the beach with friends. I love living in the country because at the end of the day. I have the best views of sunsets that remind me every day of God’s beauty.
