    STEMscopes - 4.L.16.4 Life Cycles

    Prepare a diagram of Incomplete Metamorphisis and Complete Metamorphisis to show Tuesday at the Zoom meeting.

    Thank you everyone who joined the class and for the great diagrams. If you haven't completed your diagram please do so and send me a picture.

    I received an assignment from the district for this week; you need to login and google cpalms tutorials. Open cpalms tutorials, when that opens click on Subject-Science, then Grade 4, Sub Collections-Original Student Tutorials Science -Grades K-8, Submit. Scroll down to the box that says The Life Cycles of Florida Animals. Complete the tutorial and when you finish take a picture of your certificate from the screen and send it to me or print it and take a picture (this is an extra step) or download and email it to me.

    The Multiple Choice Assessment was last weeks assignment and if you haven't completed it please do. You can also complete any optional lessons. This week is a review of the standard we started last week that I already assigned so just make sure you have all the lessons completed since distance learning started.

     Many students have not yet completed last weeks lessons, many did not have computers or online service, so the lessons from last week will be posted again this week with some optional work for students who did complete all of last weeks lessons. If you completed lessons and the assessment last week and would like me to reset due to low scores please let me know and I'll reset the material for you. 

    DISTANCE LEARNING

    All Science lessons are on STEMscopes; after logging in you will see headings on the bottom of the screen starting with Home and ending with Programs, open programs and you will see the STEMscopes tile. When you open the tile you will see the assigned lessons and the weekly multiple choice assessment.

    My suggested daily lessons are below however the assesment due date is open 3/31-4/10. The lessons are planned to make sure the students understand the material and are able to do well on the assessment. Students should work at their own pace.
