NOTESpt2

2/12

Today was our AP classroom work day for mean hypothesis testing for one sample

2/13

Today we quizzed on one mean hypothesis tests and then introduced confidence intervals for proportion comparison

Notes on 2 prop CI

• # Week 5: 2/3-2/7

Posted by David Rau on 2/3/2020

2/3

Today we talked about how to calculate the test statistic in a 1 proportion hypothesis test. the standard devation is based on the null p.

Notes

2/4

Today we talked about how to find the p-value of a 1 proportion test and conclude correctly

1/27

Today we reviewed mean confidence interval work on AP classroom

1/28

Today we quizzed on confidence intervals for means

1/29

Today we talked about Hypothesis Testing, how to write hypotheses and what type I and type II error means.

Notes

1/30

Today we continued introducing hypothesis testing by discussing how type II error and power are related, how to estimate p-values, and how to check conditions for proportion tests

Today we reviewed confidence interval material for proportions on AP classrooms.

1/22 Early Release Mental Health

1/23

Today we looked at confidence intervals for means

• # Week 2: 1/13-1/17

Posted by David Rau on 1/13/2020

1/13-1/14

Monday I was absent and Tuesday we introduced the concept of a confidence interval.

The two topics of tuesday were when we can find a confidence interval for a proportion and how to find the critical Z-value for a proportion confidence interval

Notes

1/15

Today we formed the proportion confidence interval by hand and with our graphing calculator!

Notes

1/16

Today we discussed how the margin of error and sample size are intertwined. We can shift the size of the margin of error by shifting our sample size amount. Larger samples, means smaller margin of error.

• # MONDAY WORK HERE (1/13/20)

Posted by David Rau on 1/13/2020

1. Complete ALL past khan unit reviews with 7/9 at least! You have the time, don't be lazy!

2. Attempt the next few khan's assigned. Watch the video and read the hints! You can learn a lot from them!

On our first two days back we reviewed procedures and introductory statistics material on Khan Academy

1/9

Today we reviewed more material and worked through recent topics together.
