• Welcome to 4th Grade Engineering!

This year in MakerSpace, the 4th grade students will be learning how to create Makey Makey games using the program Scratch.  Students are given coding projects to create that will correspond with the Makey Makey circuit program. (At this time we will continue to use Scratch to learn how to code, however we will not be able to use Makey Makey to test out the games created...at least until further notice.)

    Google Classroom Info....

I will be using Google Classroom for assigning students projects and activities.  Please note that I will be able to go into each students profile to view their projects and creations.  Some projects will take more than a week to complete and that's okay. Please make sure to check the assignment in Google Classroom for due dates. Since specials classes rotate every three weeks, you will have up to those three weeks to complete your assignment.  :-)   I will post new projects for students to work on as the weeks continue. Below you will find the Google Classroom Code...

    Google Classroom Fourth Grade Code:

We will be using the following website to create your coded games unless another assignment is assigned. (I may try to change it up a bit.) :-)

    Go to: Sign In

Type: Username and Password (This is what you used to join my "class".)

     - Sign into your (or yours and your partners) Scratch account. REMEMBER email me or message me in your google classroom under the assignment if you need your username and password. Make sure to provide me with your name and which day you come to MakerSpace. This will be most helpful :-) I need to be able to see your projects being created. :-)

Remember there are tutorials to watch if unsure about the coding process for that particular project.

Please note I am here to help!  Email me anytime with questions.... alison.constable@marion.k12.fl.us

    MISS YOU ALL!!!!!!!

Please Note about Third Party Platform Use: Marion County Public Schools may record online classroom sessions utilizing third-party platforms (Zoom, Google Classroom, etc.).  These recordings will only be used for educational purposes and may be shared on other learning platforms.  If you do not want your child’s image or identifying information recorded, utilize your device/platform controls to stop the camera feed from your device.

IF you know your account then NO NEED to do this step below.  We already created accounts in class :-) IF you need a NEW account than please follow the steps within your teacher's name link.
