I am the Library Media Specialist here at Maplewood. This is my 20th year working for Marion County Public Schools. Before becoming a media specialist, I taught fourth grade for 14 years and fifth grade for 1 year. As my former students can tell you, my classroom was full of two things: books and monkeys! As a teacher, I loved reading to my students every day and sharing my love of books with them. Now that I am a media specialist, I get to share this joy of reading with hundreds of students every year. I look forward to another wonderful year here in the Maplewood Media Center and hope that you will join me in inspiring our students to become life-long readers!
