  • Sieber One of my favorite things about music is that it combines both thinking and feeling. It's exciting to think about the benefits of music in your life, no matter how old you are!

My name is Mr. Sieber, and this is my first year teaching at Evergreen Elementary School. I decided to join the Eagles family in September 2019 because I already had an admiration for the students. Last school year (2018-2019), I visited one Friday each month to teach "Kids With Character" at an assembly. I enjoyed interacting with every grade level and using music and fun activities to teach things like honesty, integrity, patience, and respect.

When the opportunity became available to teach music this year, I jumped on it! I thought, "It would be so much better to see and interact with the students on a daily basis rather than just a monthly basis!" Many students have proved me right! And not only are there amazing students at Evergreen, but it has been wonderful working with the administration and other teachers & staff.

I graduated from Johnson University Florida with a B.S. in Music Education back in 2008, majoring in both music education and Bible. For 12 years, I've worked in Christian churches as a pastor, always involved in the music and youth programs.

When I'm not playing guitar, piano, or other random instruments, I'm putting on my "home barista" hat. Most students know by now my favorite things in life are music, chocolate, and coffee. This obviously comes second to my faith and family!

My goal at Evergreen is to make it fun to learn about music, and to help encourage students in their elementary school journey. If you ever need anything or have any questions/concerns, please feel free to contact me!
