Hello! I know this is a very strange time, and I hope that you and your family are doing well. I will be updating some information here.
Starting with the 2020-2021 school year, I am moving to Microsoft Teams for my digital classes. All information on current assignments can be found there, for both face to face and online students. There is a schedule of assignments there as well.
Microsoft Teams can be accessed by logging in to your student portal, selecting Offfice 365 and the Microsoft Teams app. I also encourage parents and students to get the Teams app for the cellphone, as it gives you 24/7 access to the class and any new information posted there.
Before class starts, I will post on the General Page what is happening for that day, whether it is:
Weekly Meeting with students during class period.
Individual work day
Students are expected to have access to a camera and microphone for the duration of the class period (11:13-1pm; lunch from 1pm-1:25) and be responsive if I send them a message through teams.
During meetings, students are expected to maintain the same decorum they would in a physical classroom- raise hand if you have a question (or post it in the chatbox) and keep microphone muted unelss acknowledged and given permission to unmute microphone.
All class assignments will be done through the Class notebook in the specific team for the student's class period.

Marion County Public Schools may record online classroom sessions utilizing third-party platforms (Zoom, Google Classroom, etc.). These recordings will only be used for educational purposes and may be shared on other learning platforms. If you do not want your child’s image or identifying information recorded, utilize your device/platform controls to stop the camera feed from your device.
