Regarding tonight’s homework, for September 18th, I have decided to extend our time spent on the topic of multiplication of fractions and hold off starting division with fractions until Thursday and Friday; therefore, tonight’s homework will consist of a review of material covered to date. Homework is due in class on your student’s block day, either Thursday or Friday.
For tonight’s homework, students should complete Mid-Topic Checkpoint and Mid-Topic Performance Task, located on pages 25 and 26, in their Math Folder. We will spend five to ten minutes in class today setting up some of the more challenging problems for students to solve at home.
If your student did not bring home their Math Folder, please email me and I will send you a copy of the assignment.
Students should show their work in their Math Folder, however if they must use an extra sheet of paper they should title it properly and number their work. Work must be show for students to receive credit. Students should not use a calculator to find the answer, however they may use a calculator to check their work.
As always, please let me know if you have any questions.
