• What is Financial Literacy?

    Posted by:

Financial Literacy is very similar to Practical Arts in that it focuses on real world management of your finances.

This class is new to West Port and will help in fulfilling graduation requirements.

We will be focusing on banking, credit cards, loans, and more in this semester long class.

Pen & Pencil Clip Art at Clker.com - vector clip art ...

    - Pen/Pencil

You can write in any color you want, but I need to be able to easily read it. So no yellow or BRIGHT orange and whatnot.

Staples® Composition Notebooks, Marble, Wide Ruled | Staples®

    - College Ruled Composition Notebook
We will write in our notebooks/do a bell work question every single day. You will receive a weekly notebook grade. Must be a composition notebook, not spiral bound

Casio SL-300SV Basic Calculator : Target

    - Calculator
You won't need this every day. You won't need more than a four-function calculator. There are a couple classes about finances where we will do a little bit of math.

I am on Remind. If you need to get in contact with me or want to stay up to date on things, be sure to follow me. I don't post a lot on Remind, but I do send out announcements/reminders about upcoming tests periodically.
