Mrs. Karen Daly
After 33 years as a school teacher in central Texas, Mrs. Daly relocated to Florida to be near her two grandchildren and continued teaching in Marion County. She is currently teaching all subjects to a classroom full of 5TH graders at Shady Hill Elementary School. Mrs. Daly's classroom can easily be identified by her impressive collection of George Washington memorabilia and large black and white decorative wreaths on her doors. In her spare time she enjoys gardening, cooking with her husband, exploring the Colonial Era of American history, completing historical jig-saw puzzles, and reading historical biographies.
