(September 22nd) Good morning parents and students, this Friday, September 25th interim reports will be posted for online students and paper copies will go home for traditional.  Please check Skyward (Parent/student portal) for your latest grades.  It is extremely vital that you are aware of your child's progress, especially for those students that are taking high school courses.  If you are in need of a conference, please let me know or inform our guidance department as soon as possible (671-6035 Mrs. Reyes).  If you need to reach out to a specific teacher, you can locate their faculty e-mail from their individual website or from the faculty link on the Cambridge site.  As always, if you need to talk about progress or options, please let me know!

(August 27th, 2020) Good morning parents and students.  So far the beginning of the school year has opened very smooth with only a few errors.  However, I would like to go over a few reminders.  If you are a Cambridge student and taking MCSP Online, please remember that it is vital for you to be online every period with your audio and video working properly.  Virtual learning can be difficult and without interaction from you (the student) your courses will become increasingly harder to navigate.  Please know that you are getting the same level of education as those students that are sitting in the traditional classroom, thus the expectations are exactly the same.  Therefore, make sure that you are completing assignments, studying, and taking your education serious.  This is not distance learning, so late work will not be accepted.  If you have any questions regarding any of this information, please feel free to contact me directly.  Have a wonderful day!

(August 17th, 2020) Good afternoon parents and students.  Unfortunately due to the pandemic, North Marion Middle is unable to hold its Cambridge school orientation on campus.  Nonetheless, I have posted a virtual orientation, which covers the exact material of the traditional meeting for you to view here online (Link is located directly under Annoucements/Dates).  The video pertains directly to the Cambridge program and is not a substitute for the school orientation that will be provided by the adminstration.  If you have any questions after viewing the orientation, please feel free to contact me directly.  In addition, all supply lists have been posted on the main Cambridge page for all grade levels within the program.  I hope all is well!

(August 7th, 2020) Good morning parents and students.  All schedules for classes are still being processed at this time.  Please be patient as the adminstration is working diligently to place students correctly in MCPS Online as well as in the traditional classroom.  Many of you have inquired about orientation for the up-coming school year.  We are currently deliberating on whether or not this will be held in person or posted directly to our Cambridge website for all Cambridge students and parents to view.  I know that this is a trying time and you may still have questions.  If you are unsure of something, please feel free to contact me directly through e-mail or call the school directly.

(May 25th, 2020) Good afternoon parents and students, as the school year comes to a close, I will begin working on the Cambridge Master schedule in preparation of the 2020-2021 school year.  This proess will take place sometime in late June as final grades are posted and released to determine placement.  At this time, academic reviews will be completed with all current Cambridge students in order to determine progression within the program.  In addition, incoming 6th graders that applied for the program through the Marion County Lottery and were accepted will be placed on the Master schedule.  Calls to non applicants who qualified but missed the deadline will be contacted within this time frame as well.  If you have any questions about our program or this process, please feel free to contact me diretly through e-mail at any time.
