(March 23rd, 2020) Good morning parents and students.  As all of you are now aware, school has been temporarily suspended until April 15th by the Florida Department of Education.  This impacts a number of our programs here at NMMS.  As result of our closure, the 5th grade Cambridge orientation that was to take place on March 26th has been canceled indefinitely.  When new information is available, these events will be resecheduled if appropriate.   Many of you have also inquired about work from your Cambridge classes.  Currently all instructors are following district guidelines concerning workplace closures.  On March 30th, teachers will be returning to work and will be given direction by the district and current administration as to what our next steps will be in regards to completeing the school year.  This may include Google Classroom assignments or teacher posted lectures and assignments on their individual websites.  As always, if you have any questions regarding any of this information, please let me know.  I can be contacted through e-mail at keith.melancon@marion.k12.fl.us
