Students & Parents, questions? Please email me at:
Parents, please feel free to contact me at Abigail.Harris@marion.k12.fl.us - that is the most immediate way you can get a hold of me. If I do not respond within 48 hours, please contact the guidance office.
All parent conferences are scheduled with the guidance clerk at (352) 671-4902. We request at least 48 hours notice before we can have a conference with a classroom teacher present. Guidance conferences with teachers present are most often held before school due to scheduling restrictions.
IF you have a question or would like a conference with only one teacher, you are welcome to contact that teacher directly through email or by calling Vanguard High School at (352) 671-4900. You are not required to contact the guidance office before contacting a teacher regarding your child. Due to scheduling restrictions, often times teachers are able to answer questions via phone or email faster than arranging a time for a conference. We do encourage contact directly between parents and teachers whenever possible.
Parents interested in their students grades & current progress are encouraged to access the Skyward Family Access Portal (Click HERE for access). If you are in need of access information regarding Skyward Family Portal, please contact your child's school. Or check the MCPS Home Page for Skyward Assistance.
Students, also feel free to email me at Abigail.Harris@marion.k12.fl.us - that is the most immediate way you can get a hold of me. If I do not respond within 48 hours, please contact the guidance office. You can also leave me a note in guidance anytime. You too can always check your grades on the Skyward Family Access PORTAL (Click HERE for access).
Unfortunately, I am not always available the minute a student walks in, that surely doesn't mean I do not want to help you. I am often in the Union or in classrooms meeting with students.
Please leave me a note and give me a chance to find you. YOUR graduation is MY priority.
