    Classwork:  Continue work on informative writing.  Students will work on the following skills:

    • Reading and Understanding a Prompt, Task, or Assignment

    • Coding Text to Gather Information to Answer the Prompt 

    • Planning to Organize the Information From the Text, Including Opening, Body, and Closing Paragraphs (Please see the attached Informative Writing Rubric for specific content of the essay and scoring.)

    • Writing a Rough Draft From the Planning Sheet

    • Peer Edit the Rought Draft

    • Write a Fnal Draft

    Tuesday, 10/02/18 - Continue informative writing workshop.

     

    Wednesday, 10/03/18 (Periods 1,3,5) and Thursday, 10/04/18 (Periods 2,4,6)

    • We will go to the library for check-out only, then return to the classroom to continue the writing workshop.

    Friday, 10/05/18

    • Turn in H.W.

    • Finish writing workshop.
