Greetings!  

I am your child’s 1st grade teacher for the 2019-2020 school year. I am so excited to be teaching your 1st grader! This will be my second year teaching at South Ocala Elementary. I graduated from Florida A & M University with a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. I have taught all ages, from infancy to adulthood. I have worked in child care as well as Adult Basic Education. I absolutely love teaching and I am eager to take on this new journey with your child in preparing them for second grade. I believe in teamwork, and in order for your child to have a successful academic year your participation, support, and additional help will be needed.

I am looking forward to working with you and getting to know your child as well as helping them succeed in their academics. In order to best serve your child any information to help guide me will be great. I want this transition for your child to be as smooth as possible.
