• General Information and Guidelines

    Emergency Form:

An emergency form for P.E. will be sent home with every student. It must be completed and signed by a parent/guardian, and returned to the student's P.E. teacher.

A proper uniform is important for injury prevention and good physical activity performance. Students are required to "dress-out" daily. Students need to wear a grey or white t-shirt, blue or black gym shorts with elastic waist (or athletic pants that comply with the school dress code), socks, and non-marking gym shoes.

    Locks and Lockers:

All students in Physical Education classes will be receiving an individual locker. The student will be assigned a combination lock. All belongings (including electronic devices) must be locked in the lockers during class time.

An injury occurring in Physical Education MUST be reported to their P.E. teacher at the time of occurrance in order to ensure proper attention and documentation.

Grades will be based upon: being prepared for P.E. (proper attire), participation, skills, written test(s) and behavior. Please check the portal to see how your child is doing in class.

No food or drinks, spray cans of any kind, gum or candy will be allowed in the gym or locker room at any time.

Showers are available if interested. Students must supply all soap and towels.

    Electronic Devices:

Electronic devices are not allowed in Physical Education. They must be locked in their lockers at all times.
