  • Students are given the opportunity to check out books every two weeks.  They are expected to read 20 minutes per night, and to turn in a summary of what they read every Friday.  The summary should include the who, what, when, where, why, and how of the story.  Although this will be turned in once a week, students are expected to have 5 entries per week.  The format is as follows:

    Summary of 3-5 sentences

    Date: 

    Summary of 3- 5 sentences that moves the action forward.

  • Students are to read the editorial on page 24 and write the claim and two pieces of evidence.  They then need to note the type of evidence they cited.  Due Friday.
