At this time school will be conducted at home and Google Classroom will be a means for me to communicate with the students weekly work expectations. The planned return date is 5/1 at this time.
Students will need to use the following -
Google Classroom - All of assignments, Zoom information, and other class related information will be displayed here. Codes were sent out to all students emails and by Remind.
Remind - please go to my website Remind section and install the Remind app so that we have an easier time to communicate. Thank you to many who have already done this.
Zoom - this is an app that allows us to speak face to face on either the student's computer or phone. Please set up Zoom with the student's names so I know who is in the channel when we host meetings. Zoom information will be shared on Remind. Please do not share this information with any but BMS students.
MCPS Portal (available to all students at marionschools.net) - to access Google Classroom,Word, textbooks, I-Ready, and students email.
Word - Students will use Word to type assignments that will be emailed to me once completed weekly.
Textbooks - Under the tab course schedule students can access the HMH textbook which we will be using.
I-Ready - a reading programs that teaches reading comprehenion at the students level.
Email - students will need to copy (Cntrl C) and paste (Cntrl V) their assignments into and email and sent to my email address (firstname.lastname@example.org) upon completion of entire assignments. Schools will not allow this to be dropped off in paper form due to the virus.
