    Morning annoucements: 



    We will be using Google classroom for our online platform.

    Students can access this by going to the marion county desktop: https://desktop.marion.k12.fl.us/LoginPolicy.jsp

    After signing in with their username and password the students will then go to google apps and click google classroom.

    They will then be asked sign in with their google account this is their first name.last name @marionstudents.net.

    In order for it to work please make sure you are signed out of all other google accounts.

    They will need a code to access my class in google classroom. I have provided you with the code through DOJO. If you need the code again please contact me and I will get you the code.

    Once they get into google classroom they will find their assignments with due dates.

    When turing in things like the 20 minute reading or iready minutes please make sure you mark the assignment done when finished.

    Please make sure you are signing on everyday to see assignments. Assignments will be released throughout the week and are due each Sunday. 


                We will also be using zoom which is a video chat at times as well. https://zoom.us/

    A direct link can also be found in google classroom as an assignment the password will also be found in the assignment. 

    Zoom meetings will be held Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday unless other wise posted.

    There will be two sessions one at 10:00 and one at 2:00. 

    The lesson will be the same in each session. They only need to attend one of the sessions but are more then welcome to attend both.

     Marion County Public Schools may record online classroom sessions utilizing third-party platforms (Zoom, Google Classroom, etc.).  These recordings will only be used for educational purposes and may be shared on other learning platforms.  If you do not want your child’s image or identifying information recorded, utilize your device/platform controls to stop the camera feed from your device. 


    The students will also have assignments from their special area teachers. The scheduale is as follows 

    Art: April 27-May 1st and May 18-22


    PE: May 4-8 and May 25-29


    Music: May 11-15


    Please check their teachers web pages for assignments and due dates direct links to their pages are provided for you. 


    Contact hours will be a little different from what they were.

    I will be available from 8 Am -9Am and 1 Pm until 2Pm

    You will be able to DOJO, email and call. If I miss you call or message I will get back to you within 24 hours.
