    Anthony Elementary is encouraging you to participate in the myOn Spring Break Reading Challenge Students please read the flyer in PEACH JAR on our home page. 

    Students have access to a personalized literacy environment designed to help them learn to read and love to read. It’s like having a full bookshelf at home.

    06/02/2020 MCPS MyON Summer Reading Challenge: Reading Is an Adventure

    The MCPS 2020 myON Summer Reading Challenge is here – Reading is an Adventure with myON. Marion County Public Schools encourages students to read over the summer and take advantage of the 6,000+ books on myON. Students can log in through their MCPS student desktop portal or by downloading the myON app on any tablet.

     

    The challenge runs June 2 - August 9

    Kinder-2nd Grade

    • The top five K-2 students with the most minutes read will receive an interactive STEAM-inspired prize.

    3rd-5th Grade

    • The top five 3-5 students with the most minutes read will receive an interactive STEAM-inspired prize.

     

    The winning students will be entered to win one of two Kindle Fire e-Reader Tablets.

     

    In addition, families are encouraged to continue engaging with our district’s “Community Reads!” initiative by visiting www.marionschools.net and “Look for the Book.” For the month of June and July, “Community Reads!” will offer grade specific, engaging activities and opportunities for children and families to stay connected to learning while still having fun this summer.
