Mr.Q at the Lorraine Motel where Dr.King was shot
On April 4th, 2018 we commemorate the 50th Anniversary of
Dr. Martin Luther King's assassination in Memphis, TN.
It was the most painful moment in a long struggle for Civil Rights.
In memory of this occasion, this page we will list timelines of
significant events in the Civil Rights movement (these have links
to learning about these events). In addition, events in Florida
related to the Civil Rights Movement will be listed.
