A little about me
Degrees and Certifications:
Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from the University of Florida along with my Minor in Math Education
Ms. Kelley Serravalle
I was born and raised in Alachua County. I started at Santa Fe College and finished my bachelor's degree in Mathematics at the University of Florida. This will be my second year teaching and get the pleasure of having all 6 of my classes be Geometry this year. I will do everything I can to make the classroom one where students have the freedom to learn and the desire to succeed.
I love teaching, traveling/adventuring with friends, painting, and my church family.
Please feel free to contact me anytime with any questions or concerns.
The purpose of this class is to make us better mathematicians (and, of course, to prepare us for our end-of-course exams) as well as better thinkers.
To accomplish this we will make the most of the time we have in class to learn and practice thinking logically through mathematical problems and "working out" our brain to make it stronger.
The best way to learn math is to practice problems, so let's join together and explore some problems!
If you want to sign up for text message announcements for my classes, you can enroll with "remind" by texting the code: @kserrav for your class to 81010 or @kserrava for the honors class.
Both students and parents are invited to enroll in this service. This is a two-way service, so you can ask me questions or share concerns via text messages, too.
