Mrs. D'Angelo

I was born in Huntington, Long Island and raised in a small beach town in Florida called Englewood.  I attended and graduated from the University of Florida in 2006 with a major in English and a minor in Secondary Education - I was also a member of the Fightin' Gator Marching Band.

After several years in Gainesville and working various jobs, I finally decided to pursue my teaching career.  I took my first position at a public charter school in Lake City as a 6th grade Language Arts teacher.  The next year I accepted a position at Columbia High School where I taught English IV and English IV Honors for over 3 years.

During that time, I met my husband.  He and his family are long-time Ocala residents, so I set my sights on finding a teaching position in Marion County.  In late September of 2017, I started teaching English I and English III at Forest High School.  I am incredibly lucky to be part of the Forest family and look forward to teaching here for many years.
