Welcome to Ms. McCullough's Class
I have been out on an extended personal leave. I hope to return to the classroom sometime this week that begins on Mon., Sept. 18th. I have some district paperwork and things to finish before returning. I will update myself with Miss Alex, our amazing paraprofessional, and the substitute(s) to "catch up to speed" on what your child has been learning. We will commence our normal academic routine beginning Mon., Sept. 25th in ALL subjects.
***As for progress reports, I am not aware of the status for my students until I have fully returned. PLEASE be patient as I reacclimate! I thank you in advance for your patience and understanding while allowing me time to appropriately settle back in to our routine!***
Please remember to have your child read to themselves, read to you, and/or you read with them each night for at least 20 minutes! Support for a love of reading at home is the foundation for them loving to read at school too!
Thank you all and if you need to reach me, please email me at email@example.com.
Ms. McCullough, MEd
Parents, PLEASE make sure your child's binder comes back to school every day and that ALL papers are inside the binder! This is our vital communication tool!
This year, our Superintendant of schools has announced that we have a No Homework policy!
We ARE asking each student to read for 20 minutes each day at home with an adult. They can be read to, read to you, read to a sibling, a pet, or even just out loud to themselves! I will send home a reading log once each student's log is filled up! Remember...
"There is NO substitute for books in a life of a child!" ~Mary Ellen Chase
If you request any additional work to be sent home, please email me and I will be happy to accomodate you!
