Ms. Holly Rutledge

This is my second year teaching English I at NMHS. I look forward to the 2018-19 school year and meeting the Class of 2022! I am a graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi and an alumni member of Sigma Tau Delta, the International English Honor Society. In 2016, I presented my creative non-fiction essay "There's No Place Like Home" at Flagler College in St. Augustine during the Sigma Tau Delta Southern Region Conference held there. You can read about it in the article below. I am very excited to share my knowledge with my students, and have some fun along the way! Students making memories and friendships that last a lifetime, along with learning to acquire and implement the tools for success is what the high school experience is all about. English I will give students a working knowledge that they can employ in all of their classes. This year's school supply list and syllabus can be found under assignments. Students can also find the code to login to the English I Google Classroom there. Welcome and Go Colts!
