Printed packets are updated every Monday and parents can pick up printed materials from the front of the school Monday- Thursday between 8am-2pm.
Marion County Public Schools may record online classroom sessions utilizing third-party platforms (Zoom, Google Classroom, etc.). These recordings will only be used for educational purposes and may be shared on other learning platforms. If you do not want your child’s image or identifying information recorded, utilize your device/platform controls to stop the camera feed from your device
Google Classroom Login!
This is what you need to know in order to login:
1st: students must login to their MCPS portal
2nd: click on the google classroom tile. This can be found by click the magnifying glass in the left-hand corner. Then searching "google classroom"
3rd: Once you have clicked the google classroom tile, it will redirect you to enter an email. THIS IS THE IMPORTANT PART!
you must enter YOUR STUDENT school email which is "first name.last name @marionstudents.net" example: "firstname.lastname@example.org" and click next
4th: You will be asked to provide a password. This password is the SAME as the one they use for their MCPS DESKTOP.
You should now be on the google classroom and see “Ms.Pfeifer’s Firsties” click on that class to see assignments and updates.

This is a new way of learning and teaching for all of us and I want to encourage you to feel free to contact me about any questions or concerns that you may have.
When it comes to my students, I know they are capable of great things and together we will adapt ourselves to our new learning platform.
Students will be able to find all their assignments on "Ms. Pfeifer's Firsties" google classroom which is located on each student's MCPS desktop. The class code is: aeg3bwf
Parents may also pick-up printed packets from school for students who don't have internet access at home.
I miss all of my students very much and cannot wait to be back in the classroom with all of you!

Remind: Parents if you have not already, please take a moment to sign up for Remind101. This is a free app that I use to communicate with my parents. You can sign up through the internet using this link above and the classroom code "@mspfeifer1". Also, you can easily send a text to 81010 with the message "@mspfeifer1" this will make communition between us quick and simple.
