During the Distance Learning time students will be utilizing Google Classroom to receive and submit assignments. We will also be using ZOOM and Microsoft Teams as a means of communicating. These programs will allow for me to easily and quickly respond to student questions about assignments.
I will no longer be updating my separate teacher website. All information will be e-mail and/or posted here.
I sent out two e-mails to parents today, March 30. If you did not receive an e-mail from me please e-mail me with your current e-mail address so I can update my list.

Marion County Public Schools may record online classroom sessions utilizing third-party platforms (Zoom, Google Classroom, etc.). These recordings will only be used for educational purposes and may be shared on other learning platforms. If you do not want your child’s image or identifying information recorded, utilize your device/platform controls to stop the camera feed from your device.
**Mrs. Gibbs will not be recording any online classroom sessions**
If you student does not remember how to check their e-mail please have him/her follow these steps:
Please have them try this as soon as possible and let me know if they experience any problems. Once they are in their e-mail they should see an e-mail from me. They will need to follow those instructions for Google Classroom.
- Go to www.marionschools.net
- Click on MCPS desktop
- Login using the same username and password they used in school
- Click on the Office 365 tile
- Click on Outlook (it may require them to enter their e-mail address and password again)
