Degrees and Certifications:
Ms. Christine Davis
Thank you for visiting our classroom page. My name is Ms. Davis and I am very excited to be teaching here a College Park Elementary. I am the mother of one son who is 32 years old. I grew up in Moline, Illinois and moved to Marion County in 1981, and after being here for 39 years, I consider myself a Florida native. In my spare time, I enjoy swimming, kayaking, going to the beach and exploring all the beautiful sites that Florida has to offer.
This is my twelth year in education and my third year in the fifth grade. In the past, I have taught 3rd and 4th grade and served as a Reading Coach. I currently hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education and a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership. It is my belief that a positive parent/teacher relationship is the key to your child's success. This year is going to look very different from years past as this classroom will be an online format. We also want to make sure that you are aware that your child is expected to log into class each day at 7:30 a.m. and will be expected to be available until 3:00 p.m. While all of our time will not be in a video classroom, there will be several times throughout the day that your child will participate in whole group and small group instruction as well as work in teams with their classmates. It will be very important that classroom procedures and norms be observed at all times to make it the best experience for everyone. I look forward to working with you throughout the school year and serving you and your child as they complete their elementary education. If you have any questions, I am always here for you, please feel free to contact me by phone or via email at firstname.lastname@example.org
