Retired Chief Master Sergeant Danny L. Buskey

Retired Chief Master Sergeant Danny L. Buskey was born November 5, 1954 in Orangeburg, South Carolina. He graduated from Orangeburg-Wilkinson High School in 1972 where he was team manager for the Class 4AAAA State Championship Football Team and was also voted schools best dressed male. He enlisted in the United States Air Force in August 1977 as a Security Specialist and rose to the Rank of Chief Master Sergeant, the top one percent of the Enlisted Force. Chiief buskey served in Desert Shield/Desert Storm, Jordan, Colombia, Peru, Kuwait and Russia, Korea, England and many other classified operations. Chief Buskey's approved design and procurement process for the Defensor Fortis Flag flown by every Security Forces Organization is one og his many lasting contributions to the U.S. Air Force Security Forces worldwide.  He was also ordained as a minister of the Gospel  (Elder) in 1993 under the Churches of God In Christ, Inc. He has served in many ministerial capacities at the Local, State and International Level to include Secretary and Treasurer for Historic First Jurisdiction of Southern Georgia Churches of God In Christ. He served as Pastor of the Upper Room Church of God in Christ,Songtan, Korea for two years , Mason Temple Church of God In Christ, Waycross, Georgia for 8 years. He founded Lion of Judah Church of God In Christ in August 2010 where he is currently the Senior Pastor. He worked for Satillia Community Services Board upon retirement from the Air Force as an Adult and Adolescent Behavioral Health Profession, Group Home Counselor and Therapeutic Foster Care Program Manager for three years prior to his selection as Air Force Juior ROTC Instructor where he served 11 years at Brantley County High,Nahunta Georgia where the 2016 yearbook was dedicated to his  impact on students and school .  He also served  a year at Tift County High, Tifton Georgia as an emergency hire Instructor at the 9th Grade Campus . His JROTC  units have earned an Exceeds Standards in the 2017 HQ AFJROTC Unit Inspection. The Drill Team has also won many Trophies at all levels He is currently employed at North Marion High, Citra, Florida   Chief Buskey is married to the former Treasure Lee Williams. they have a blended family of six Adult Sons and Two Adult daughter. Chief Buskey  has a Bachelor of Science  in Criminal Justice from Troy State University, Troy Alabama, A Master of Arts in Human Resources Development from Webster, University, St Louis, Mo, and a Second Master of Science in Secondary Education from Troy State University, Troy , Alabama.
