Your science fair project needs to:

Have a testable question. Meaning, you to be able to design an experiment around a hypothesis.

Answer a question about your topic.

    Adhere to guidelines

    Follow your well-developed research plan.

*The dates set in the science fair timeline stapled to the folder are subject to change based upon the needs of the classroom.*

Please remember the Gale password and the World Book user name and password. They are all case sensitive. The trip to the media center today was to assist you with finding reputable resources to use for your project. Please do not redo another person’s experiment. DESIGN YOUR OWN EXPERIMENT. THIS IS THE FUN PART OF SCIENCE!!!

  • Good day students and parents!!!

Today, students received the science fair timeline, and I have posted a copy of it on the class website under our class (Cambridge) as well. There is also the student checklist. The due date for that to be filled out and signed is October 7th. On Monday, October 3rd, our class will be taken to the library to get help with research. I have informed the students a research plan needs to be developed PRIOR TO EXPERIMENTATION. This is an important step. They need to plan out what they are going to do before they do it. If there are any questions, you may contact me via e-mail or by phone at the schools main number. Thank you.

  • Hello Students:

As all of you are aware, we missed school on Friday the 2nd due to Hurricane Hermine. As a result, our lab reports are now due on September 9th, along with the spongebob worksheet. Additionally, I am working on the gradebook and trying to manage updating the assignments on there, this process will be complete prior to interim reports being issued. I know there will be questions about your grade during this time, as ever, you can approach me with any questions or concerns you have. Also, I have posted a sample lab report on the class portal on the homepage with questions you should answer, as well as the format. As stated in class, you can hand this in using a spiral notebook, a composition notebook, notebook paper stapled into a book, or even digitally. As long as all of the components are there, in the correct order, the type of notebook is not important. Again, if you have any questions, I am here for you.

  • Hello again students,

Please remember our first lab is on Friday August 26th. If you are able to bring a regular sized bag of popcorn to use, a panther buck will be issued to you. The brand of popcorn does not matter, only that it not be a mini-sized bag. Thank you, and GOOOOOO Panthers!!!!!!
