During the season: Every Wednesday from 4:00-5:30 p.m. located at the Galaxy West Lanes .

Every Tuesday and Thursday. You need to be at the bowling alley READY TO BOWL at 4pm.

Our season begins Tuesday, Aug. 1st and runs through districts on October 23rd, if we qualify for state that is November 1st & 2nd.

While experience is preferable, this is a sport open to anyone who is willing to devote their time and effort to practice and the team.  If you cannot make a practice, you must notify the coach IN ADVANCE.  Club meetings and practice or games in another sport are NOT considered a valid excuse.

Before you practice, you must have the following on file with the Athletics Dept. (See Coach Budnick):

    • Athletic Participation fee = $20 (must be paid by the student before they can bowl)
    • Bowling costs match and practice: JV $80, Varsity $100
    • Current Physical form, Pink Consent for Treatment form, Athletic Participation Packet, proof of Concussion course completion

  • Fees:

    • Students must not be on the debt list in order to bowl.

    • Students must pay the participation fee to Mrs. Wright, the bookkeeper, before they are able to bowl.  Bring the receipt to Ms. Furphy to show that this is paid. This fee covers the insurance costs for student athletes.

    •  Lineage fees must be paid by each bowler.  There may be fundraising opportunities, but if a bowler does not raise enough to cover their lineage fees then it must be paid by the bowler.

Students must be debt free and academically eligible.  Grades are IMPORTANT.  Your academics are your first priority.  No grades below a “C”. Must have a 2.0 GPA in order to play.

It is the responsibility of the bowler to get to practice and matches.  STUDENTS ARE NOT ALLOWED TO TRANSPORT OTHER STUDENTS, unless they are siblings.  Ms. Furphy is not allowed to transport students for practice or matches.

You will have to purchase a shirt for the team, approximately $25.

    Cell phones:

During matches all cell phones are to be turned off and put away. Coach Furphy will have a safe place for you to put your cell phone.  Failure to do so may result in not playing again during the match.

If you have any ideas for fundraising please let Coach Furphy know.
