  • Update 4/6: Hello everyone!  Thank you to everyone who has been logging on to Google Classroom the last few days and doing the attendance forms and working on the first few assignments.  Please continue complete the assignments and turn them in.  If you still need to get on Google Classroom, go through your desktop portal and click on the Google Classroom button and add my class.  If you need the class code, I have added them in the "Google Classroom" tab on the left of this page.  Find your period and type in the code in Classroom.  Remember, if you need anything, send me an email or a message on Google Classroom.  Stay safe everyone!

  • Hello there!  I'm Mr. Obara and this is my website.  You'll be able to find my syllabus, some notes, and other important information that will help guide you through the school year.

I mainly use Google Classroom, where you'll find more detailed notes through my videos.

The course will review the mathematical skills needed for the study of algebra.  Topics include the arithmetic of integers, fractions, decimals, and percents; applications of these arithmetic skills to problems involving measurement, percent, ratio, and proportion; and math study skills.  The introduction to algebra consists of operations on signed numbers, algebraic expressions, solving linear equations and an introduction to graphing. It also includes exponents and polynomials, quadratic functions, and data analysis.

Please feel free to contact me at anytime for anything you need!
