    5. Is America a great country? Why or why not.

Remember to pass your papers down the row when you are done and the last person will place it in the box for this period.

Note: This is the last bell work for the week and this will go in the grade book. You must have all 3 handed in to the appropriate drawer.

    TODAY:

    1. We will start the bell work.

    2. We will listen intently to the morning announcements.

    3. We will learn how to bookmark my web page for future use.

    4. We will go over the proper way to sit, where the keyboard should be placed, and what Home Row is and how it helps you.

    5. We will log in to typingtest.com and practice typing for the pretest. When we are doen practicing we will take the actual test.

    6. Do not write in the books, only write on the answer sheet.

    7. We will log on to typing.com and set up an account and I will go over what we will do in this program. Note: you must pay attention to what is going on when we go over this so you do everything correctly. If others are having problems I appreciate your help. Do not work ahead because you will miss what I need you to put in the computer.

    8. Your goal is to learn to type without looking at the keyboard and typing at least 45 words per minute (WPM) as well as have zero errors. I want you to start slow because the fewer errors you have the faster you will become. Why? Because companies require you to be able to type this amount. They will test you prior to hiring you. If you can't do it they will not hire you.
