NOTE: PROGRESS REPORTS WERE DUE ON 4/23/19 - you better check your grades. I have gone through all of the GMetrix reports and put in the grades that were showing. If I did not put in a grade it means you either didn't finish and submit for grading or you did not do it at all.

Once you have signed into GMetrix on your computer desktop, here is where you go to make sure you have completed your work. If it isn't in the completed tests folder then it might be in your saved folder:

    Completed Test

If it is in your saved folder here is where you go once you have signed into GMetrix on you computer desktop. You will need to open the saved test and figure out if you finished it or if you need to finish it. At this point just submit it for a grade and then email me a picture of it showing your name, period and grade and I will still be able to change your grade:

NOTE: I figured out what was confusing you about the Bell Work. Number 5 of the last bell work wasn't posted because that was the day I went to the Hospital. I did not have a chance to post your information. Here is what you were missing. Please do this and then share with me so I can put it in the grade book.

    BELLWORK:

    Challenging Riddles - March 5, 2019  1 of 5

    1. As I walked along the path I saw something with four fingers and one thumb, but it was not flesh, fish, bone, or fowl.

    2. What can run but never walks, has a mouth but never talks, has a head but never weeps, has a bed but never sleeps?

    3. I went into the woods and got it, I sat down to seek it, I brought it home with me because I couldn't find it.

This is number 1 of 5

    TODAY:

We will work in GMetrix in Excel. Now that you have had premliminary information about Excel it should be easier for us to go through GMetrix. We will make sure you have completed and turned in the Excel Moodle Payroll assignment.

Note: This is a very important assignment and everyone must complete it. I will work with those who haven't completed it or did not show the formulas. You can make the changes and upload it again for a better grade. The reason this is so important is because it is part of your end of course testing.

    Very important Assignment: Excel

    1. Go to your computer desktop and open Moodle.

    2. Scroll down to MS Excel.

    3. In the middle scroll down to Formulas and Functions - click on it.

    4. Click on Formulas and Functions Part 2

    5. Unfortunately it is going to make you take the quiz again. If you haven't taken the quiz go ahead and take it.

    6. We are going to work together on The Get Smart Payroll.

    7. Submit your Get Smart Payroll Excel Workbook

DEADLINE: Monday, February 11, 2019 (It was due on this date so it will be late)

    New Assignment: Excel

    1. Go to your computer desktop and open GMetrix Excel.

    2. Sign in. If you haven't used GMetrix since the beginning of the year you will probably need the new code.

    3. If you have a current code it will take you to the Microsoft Office 2016 and click on Excel

    4. Select the Training Test Mode

    5. Do Excel 2016 Core Practice Exam 1 Training (we will do together unless you have already done it or I am working with the Get Smart Payroll)

    6. If you have completed all of the Core Practice Exams then do the reviews. It is important that you know and understand how to do the formulas and functions because they change things up in the test and make you think how to do it and not just remember how it was done in the practice.
