A Little About Me...
I am originally from Buffalo, NY. I moved to the sunshine state about 8 years ago for a teaching job. This will be my 8th year of teaching. First, I was an ESE teacher for 3 years where I worked with students in grades 3-5. Then, I spent 2 years as a 4th grade teacher. Currently, I am going into my 3rd year as a 3rd grade teacher. Out of all my opportunities teaching in the classroom, I have to say teaching 3rd grade students has been the best experience I have ever had in the classroom.

SOME FUN FACTS ABOUT ME...
- I have a twin sister, her name is Melissa! She is a very talented Graphic Designer. My sister works for a Billionaire; the owner of my hometown's NFL Buffalo Bills & NHL Sabres sports teams. How cool is that!?!
- I have only one family member that lives in Florida. That would be my nephew, Jacob. The rest of my family lives back in Buffalo, NY. I always try to persuade my family to move to Florida, it has yet to work. Fingers crossed it will happen someday!
- I have only been out of the country twice in my life... when I was younger my family would go to Canada to see the Niagara Falls. Most recently I traveled to the Dominican Republic for vacation with family and friends. That was my most favorite trip of all times because I was able to swim with sharks and held a stingray in the middle of the Caribbean Sea. I look forward to traveling to more places in my future!
- I have 2 Orange Tabby cats. Their names are Cupcake and Cookie. They are the sweetest cats I have ever had. An interesting fact about my two cats is, I rescued them from my old school as kittens. They were found outside of my school. The moment I laid my eyes on them, I just knew I needed to be their Mama. Nowadays, Cupcake and Cookie are relaxing at home during the school day. Taking lots of naps, enjoying a bite of food every once in awhile and playing with their cat toys. They surely are living a life of luxury.
