    During our Zoom meetings, you are expected to conduct yourself in a professional, respectful manner just like we do in our classroom and at BMS every single day.  Guidelines and policies from our Marion County handbook and BMS handbook apply to Distance Learning as well.  

    Zoom Meeting Expectations

    1.  Inappropriate, foul or offensive language, gestures, comments or discussions are strictly prohibited and will not be tolerated.  Infractions to this policy will be reported to administration and consequences will follow.  

    2.  Choose an appropriate identification when attending the Zoom conference.  This includes all expectations from #1 as well. 

    3.  Adhere to all dresscode policies.  Be appropriate.  

    4.  Take turns listening to others, be patient and be respectful.  

    5.  If you have a question, want to add to a discussion or need some assistance, raise your hand.  

    6.  Mute your microphone until you are called on.  When mics are on, there is too much feedback and I am not able to use the platform effectively. 

    7.  Find a quiet place where you won't be disturbed during the meeting.....at least for the short time we meet if you can :)

    8.  DO NOT MAKE COMMENTS ABOUT OTHER PEOPLE'S VIDEO, APPEARANCE, SURROUNDINGS, HOUSE, ETC.  

  • Marion County Public Schools may record online classroom sessions utilizing third-party platforms (Google Classroom, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, etc.) These recordings will only be used for educational purposes and may be shared on other learning platforms.
