Mrs. Fennewald

I was born and raised in Illinois, about 90 miles west of Chicago.  I began my teaching career at the elementary level, where I taught 2nd-5th grades.  After having two children, Nate and Emma, I decided to stay home for awhile and enjoy some time with them.  As they both grew, I went back into the classroom.  I spent two years teaching 6th-9th grade students at an alternative school.  We decided to give up the snow and cold and head to sunny Florida four years ago.  I have been a part of the amazing BMS team teaching Language Arts since transferring to MCPS.  I am also the Cambridge Coordinator and Athletic Director here at BMS.

As I mentioned, I have two children who are both MCPS students as well.  I was fortunate to spend time with them at BMS before they moved on to high school.  My son, Nate, is currently attending North Marion High School.  He is a catcher for the Colts and is in the AICE Program.  My daughter, Emma, also attends North Marion High School, where she is a cheerleader and in the AICE Program.  Needless to say, I have a busy schedule year round!

I am very happily married to my husband, Brian, who is also a part of the MCPS staff.  We have two dogs, an English Bulldog named Scarlett, and a Staffordshire Terrier/English Mastiff mix named Pudge.

In my free time, I enjoy Powerlifting, spending time at Disney and hanging out with my family.
