Degrees and Certifications:
My name is Bethann Fales-Clinton. I am from Michigan. I was born in Wayne County. Most of my childhood was spent growing up in Detroit. I attended Temple Christian School up until 11th grade. My family moved to a city called Livonia. I went to high school at Aldai Stevenson until I graduated in 1988. There, I decided I wanted to persuit a degree working with children as my interest was sparked by human development classes. I was very fortunate to be able to work at many high quality preschool programs throughout my high school and college years.
Alongside my love for children, I also share a deep desire for music and drama. I play several instruments, sing, and act. I began working toward a Bachelor Degree in music as I wanted to be a music teacher, but found an outlet that merged my two biggest loves together. Thus, I graduated from Western Michigan University in 2005 with a degree in early elementary education, integrated creative arts, and elementary education.
I am passionate about my profession. I love seeing young children cross milestones in their learning and development. I am a member of the National Accredidation of Early Young Children (NAEYC).
I joined Marion County Public Schools in 2013. Currently, I am teaching first grade!
