1. After kindergarten students have been taught about book care and library procedures, teachers will decide when their students can begin to check out up to 2 books for 2 weeks.  A signed permission form will be sent home for parents to sign.
    2. First and second grade students will start the year by checking out 2 books for up to 2 weeks.
    3. Third and fourth grade students will start the year by checking out 3 books for up to 2 weeks as long as they have a clean record with no lost, damaged, or overdue books.
    4. Students may renew a book one time, unless there is a request for the book.
    5. There are no fines for overdue materials.
    6. Students may be denied permission to check out materials or may be told to go to our second chance area if they have overdue, lost, or damaged books that have not been returned or paid for.

Gifts are always appreciated. They may be added to the media center collection, given to teachers or students, or used in the Little Free Library in the front of the school.
