I grew up in Marion county and graduated from Forest High School in 2000.  I am a graduate of the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor's degree in Economics. I continued my education at the College of Central Florida and received my Florida Professional Teaching Certification in 2009.  I currently hold certification in ESE and Elementary Education (K-6).  This is my third year teaching at Maplewood Elementary and my sixth year teaching in Marion County.  I have a beautiful wife, Amanda, a four year old son, Carter, and a two year old daughter named Bella.  I also have a beagle named Piper and two cats named Wall-E and Mo.  I enjoy watching football and soccer and I am a huge Florida State Seminole fan!  I also enjoy music and film.  I look forward to a great year here at Maplewood.  GO MUSTANGS!
