  • COVID-19 CONUNDRUM (Updated: 4/3/2020)

    As you are now aware, for the forseeable future Marion County Public Schools, in alignment with the Florida Department of Education, have decided to transition to an online learning platform through at least April 30th to facilitate your students eductional needs for completing the courses they are currently enrolled in. For the courses that I teach, we will begin using a variety of online resources to complete the course which your child will need to utilize weekly. These are free products that your student will need to potentially create an account for and make use of to complete assignments or other activities. Specifics for each class (club, sport) can be found under the requisite tab on the left side of my website homepage. I have posted specific times that I will be available each day to help your student but I am generally available throughout the day if you or your student has any questions or concerns. Please do not hesitate to email me with any particular concerns and I will do my best to respond in a timely fashion to handle the inquiry. As always, your students education is of paramount importance to me and I will do my best to help them finish the year to the best of their ability. With that in mind, I want you to be aware that MY ABSOLUTE CUT OFF TIME FOR INTERACTIONS WITH STUDENTS (AND PARENTS) IS 9 P.M. EASTERN STANDARD TIME. I WILL NOT RESPOND TO OR SEND ANY MESSAGES AFTER THAT TIME. ANYTHING SENT AFTER THAT TIME WILL NOT BE ADDRESSED UNTIL THE FOLLOWING DAY AT THE EARLIEST.
