I have created student accounts with Khan Academy that are linked to their school account. I have assigned lessons that go along with what we are learning in math. The lessons include videos that they can pause and replay as needed, as well as practice problems.

You can access the website at https://www.khanacademy.org/

Students will use their school email address (first name.last name@marionstudents.net), and their school password to access their account.

You can use the document below to help you when accessing the website at home.

This is a great way for students to practice math stills that they are having difficulty with. I strongly encourage students to use this at home to improve their math skills.

  • Math App

    Door 24 Plus

Door 24 Plus is a free iPad math app for students in grades 1-8.  It works to establish students’ fact fluency and then builds computational fluency.  Door 24 Plus requires students to solve problems using basic facts, number sense and algebraic thinking.  This app contains two games: Snargg Splatt to develop fact fluency and Victor Fixer to develop computational fluency.  After completing a quick assessment to identify skill gaps and growth areas, the app will assign students to the game that will best meet their needs.

Students can create their own free account.

This is only available on iPad. If it becomes available on another platform, I will let you know.

We use Class Dojo totrack student behvior and learning throughout the day. It is also a great tool for communcating important information to you electronically. A letter will go home giving you more information about the application and how to access your child's account.
