The Marion County Student Media Festival is a Star-Studded event highlighting the outstanding video production work of our students. The purpose of this festival is to encourage students to communicate through media production. The Festival also recognizes the excellent work being done in our schools by student media producers.
Each year over 300 entries are submitted from students in Grades K through 12. Many of the Marion County entries advance to State competition after winning at the local level. Also, Marion County students continue to capture more awards than any other Florida school district in the State competition. The Marion County Student Media Festival is completely funded by community sponsors.
